Temperature soaring high!! Its The Indian Cricket Fever...

Wow... Who else denies to write about cricket in India? I am also one of the fond cricket fan who will write about cricket anytime and every time. Cricket is a game where people sit together and watch till the last ball of the match. Shout when Indian bowlers take wickets, when Sachin Tendulkar start hitting boundaries, when M.S.Dhoni hit six at the end of the game.

Who else doesn't want to see Sachin's ODI double hundred, Sehwag's triple test hundred. I am a kind of person who is ready to watch a test match all through the day, see Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman batting, watch some Anil Kumble's, Zaheer Khan wickets. I shall share an incident where I faced so many barriers to watch India Pakistan match.

There was a India-Pakistan match scheduled on some weekday i.e. on a Wednesday, generally these matches will on a Saturday or a Sunday. It was world cup 2011 semifinal match, India had already defeated world champs Australia and had a great confidence, and they played incredibly well. I had to go to office on that day. Yuvi, Dhoni, Gautam, Sehwag, Zaheer, Harbhajan were playing, it was a pretty strong side when compared to Pakistan team. It was Sachin Tendulkar's Last world cup.

Match was scheduled at 2pm, so basically it was day and night match. The venue was Mohali. I had lot of work in office and as many of my colleagues were on leave, it was a kind of mandate to be present. Few of my colleagues who were present in office set ourselves to watch the match uninterruptedly by live streaming the match in the browser in the office. Internet was working fine till 2.30pm then suddenly it got crashed. Live streaming is not working anymore.

Then no internet in our office. We were very tempted to watch the match. Then we used our mobiles to watch using chrome browser. It was too slow to load, then after few minutes we planned to go out and watch the match in an electronic showroom. Then there were so many people who were watching the match. It was crowded there. Even then we tried to watch the match but could not say for long. 

After some time we returned to office to check if live streaming is working, then it was not. We planned to roam around some roads, find a house where cricket match is telecasted on their televisions. We literally climbed a house compound and watched the match. We were standing until the climax of the match. It was so thrilling to watch the match in such a manner. 

India won the match, it was more predictable as India had that confidence. But these internet issue made our day miserable to watch this match. I recently came across a browser which takes less memory of your mobile and which is faster and more reliable under these circumstances.
