Normally we think that we have to control our children when they are growing up. We also think that we know everything better than our children, but its false. But we have to look after them like friends and learn with them and teach them. Now the attitude should be changed a lot when compared with olden days. The reason is those days every one used to have minimum 6-8 kids and they had brothers and sisters to share their feelings with them. But these days many people have nuclear families which affects their mental condition.

Children are like budding blossom they need full support for learning and sharing their ideas, thought and many things. They have pure and tender mind sets which makes them think in different way than a normal individual.
Technology is changing the lifestyle of every individual these days, technologies are different from different generations. There was a stage where we did not have a telephone and televisions at home and now every child will be born with a smart phone.
These days children are smart, in-fact children are smarter than their parent's generation, due to the generation gap also mingling with different kinds of people outside world. Elders will be limited to certain environment as they will restrict themselves to mingle with different kinds of people. But children will be having fresh mind sets and they will be having the mentality to adjust and mingle with all people and share many things.

Making child smarter will be our first goal. So we have to understand their mindset and character and be like them play with them which makes them to increase their mental knowledge and also make ourself learn. "Buddy parenting" is the greatest mantra these days to be with your kids. Be friends with your kids and make them learn the in-tern learn so many things from them.

I know a couple who recently had a baby girl. She is now almost 3 years old, she knows everything in a Tablet or a smart phone. She plays games, watches video, and do everything. She also helps her mom cook her favourite food using YouTube, as her mother was not so technical savvy and is very non-technology friendly. She learnt so many things from her daughter, now she also has a smart phone and she can call and chat with her friends.
Mother teaches her music, drawing, writing ABCD etc.. When I saw Kellogg's Chocos ads on television I remembered my neighbour and her cute and sweet daughter.
To make sure that you also learn from your children follow some pointers.
1. As a parent behaviour matters a lot. behave yourself and you should their role model in their life.
2. Be practical and show them love and care what they required.
3. Do not be sweet always, they should know how to behave in outside world.
4. Dont teach them wrong paths and wrong rules and regulations in life.
5. Learn new things with them, they are better learns than you.
6. Play with them as they can be a better teachers for you.
7. Give home and healthy food (most of the parents do this anyways.)
Just to tell about Kellogg's Chocos ads, it was awesome, Juhi (as a mother) plays with her son and she never denies to learn a video game from him. Look at their Facebook page. and look at their conversations about buddy parenting.
Nice post.
