Is Bangalore really safe for WOMEN?

Bangalore, the IT capital of India also called as The Silicon Valley attracted many immigrants to occupy the beautiful Garden city. The Garden city is no more called so as the city has changed drastically in every aspect. Bangalore was known to be calm, protective, healthy, nature friendly etc. now after hearing to Mr. Franklin in TOI meet on Saturday – Mar-18^th 2013, shocked to hear that Bangalore is the 2^nd more unsafe cities in India. Though I hear many violent activities across the city, I never thought it would cross the limits when compared to other cities in India. We can say that present Bangalore is unsafe, not protective, violent, unhealthy, most polluted city in India.
